A city simply outdoors London has been hit by its third earthquake in two weeks.
Residents in Leighton Buzzard, in Bedfordshire, say their houses “shook” following the tremor at round 9.30am on Tuesday (September 22).
The earthquake had a magnitude of three.0.
It is not but recognized if owners in London may really feel the earthquake.
The earlier earthquakes hit the realm on September Eight and September 13. The earthquake on September 8 was felt in parts of London, including in Northolt.
One resident in Leighton Buzzard tweeted: “[I] felt an earthquake, in basement flat, shook within the floor, not as massive as the primary [earthquake], however suppose was stronger than the second. The primary one the flat bodily rolled and twisted within the floor, this time it simply rumbled and shook barely.”
One other mentioned: “Simply had our third earthquake in Leighton Buzzard in three weeks. What’s occurring? This one was at 9.35am and the primary at 9.45am, two weeks in the past – is there any fracking occurring, or is that this only a coincidence?!”
In an announcement the British Geological Survey mentioned: “We’re getting experiences of an earthquake within the Leighton Buzzard space this morning. We’re at the moment investigating this and can replace you as quickly as we will.”
